Remember the days where you would go outside and jump during the time the sun set?
Ahhhh the good old days.... ;)
Hopefully that gave you a bit of a smile and perhaps made you feel a little…..Cheerful
What if we did apply joy into what we do, into the moments that make up our days?
What if we did a little jump break at work exactly like this woman in the picture? Would it attract a few looks and a smile or two perhaps?
Being cheerful is contagious, and it’s a good thing to catch from others. Cheerfulness is:
A noticeable state of optimism
Cheerfulness involves feeling free and knowing that what ever you are moving towards in life whether a goal or a brighter future or even personal development you know you have put in the groundwork enough to achieve it. It involves holding that vision for yourself in having a good future, that no matter what comes at you in life, where you are heading involves goodness.
You have to earn cheerfulness though, by clearing self of the internal rubbish that we carry consciously and unconsciously.
There is so much reference to attaining “wholeness and completeness” but this is not always a permanent fixed state. We will continue to break into pieces and become whole then break into pieces then become whole. When you can learn to accept and be with this, then you become an expert in remaining focused forward even though you feel you may be dragging your feet.
Cheerfulness draws others towards you because they can sense that you are moving towards your moments of victory and they want to move alongside you in support, cheering you on.
