On the surface, there is a job to deal with, chores to do, but the weight of these things are lightened by knowing that there is a river of current that flows underneath all this giving it all a purpose and direction.
If you imagine that your mind is a landscape of rocky areas and narrow avenues, it is this current of contentment that flows in between the cracks and crevices of the subconscious and gives the mind a sense of fluidity. Without it, we can be intelligent yet we will feel easily depressed, stagnant and purposeless.
Contentment does require time for inner reflection so as to prepare for where the current is taking you. A deep understanding of how this all interconnects is necessary for the current to pull you towards the destination that lies beyond the mundane frivolities of day to day living.
