Virtue #7 - The Power of Surrender

​The mind likes to look back as in some regard it knows some comfort there.  It knows the past and the experiences it has endured up to this point.  The challenge is keeping it looking forward into the unknown.  

​To surrender means to not keep looking to the past as to what is familiar.

The first part of Surrender means being at a crossroads and giving up the fear, giving up being indecisive  and allowing the spirit to choose the first step in the new direction.

After surrendering, forces shift and move to put the rest of the steps of the path together.  The journey along with surrender is a creative process.  Even if you come up against obstacles you still surrender to them and move on.

The final part of surrender is when your thoughts become so elevated in consciousness, that they become non-reliant on the sole support of relationships, that instead thoughts become truth orientated and clear.  When thoughts attain this altitude, it moves away from external earthly support, to a consciousness where they are simply “experiencing” and being “creative” simultaneously.  This is true surrender.
